RESULTS - Stableford Competition at Vintage on Saturday 24 February 2024

Dietmar Bandat took the overall first place prize on our first visit to Vintage this year. Congratulations to Didi for his 40 points and a 2 shot victory over the closest player and the other 33 players and 4 guests (now members!).

Flight A was won by Noi Waratworayon (37 points even though he missed the first hole!); Flight B by Rob Taylor (36 points) and Flight C by Steven Brader (38 points). Well done everyone. Full table of flight and technical prize winners below:

In the 2024 Team event we were all wondering if the Dragons could use their numerical advantage to break the run of Fireballs victories this year. We should have thought better as the Fireballs turned in an amazing collective performance to easily take victory. Dragons were a distant 2nd followed by Stingers and 4 Aces. Fireballs celebrate their convincing win and maintain a 100% win record in 2024. They are getting a wee bit better at these group photos too!

Our next event is at Floraville on Saturday 9 March and registration is open now on True Handicap. This event incorporates a regular team event and the first of this year's Interteam MatchPlay competitions. Same format at in 2023, 6 players needed from each team (2 Pairs and 2 Singles) to go head to head. Stingers versus 4 Aces and Fireballs versus Dragons. Talk to your respective captains to volunteer/plea for a position in the team!
