RESULTS - Stableford Competition at Vintage on Saturday 22 February 2025

A hot day at Vintage with little wind - summer is coming for sure. Returning to the winners enclosure after a period of hibernation was Victor Phan who shot a scarcely believable gross 75 for 42 stableford points and a 3 shot victory plus a minor stewards enquiry. Congratulations to Victor - excellent play and a message for our members that we trust in the WHS mechanism to ensure a fairly handicapped playing field for our events.

Flight Winners were Noi Waratworayon (35 points), Earnie Wark (37) and Anthony Everett (39) in A, B and C divisions respectively. Special mention to Leigh Dahl who broke 100 for the first time! Congratulations Flight Winners and Leigh - what is your new goal? We welcomed new members Lynn Munday and Jinbo Park too and we wish you much success in your golf with the Londoners. In the 2025 Team Competition, the Stingers players turned out in shocking numbers and took a convincing victory, relegating the 4 Aces to 2nd place and ending their monopoly on first place this year. Third and fourth were Fireballs and Dragons. 4 Aces have a healthy lead in the league table, Fireballs and Dragons are joint 2nd with Stingers closing the gap to their last place.
