RESULTS - Stableford Competition at Flora Ville on Saturday 8 June 2024

33 Londoners players teed it up yesterday at a windy Flora Ville Golf Club and after several hours of epic struggle and mixed play it turned out that new-ish member, Chris Brown, had won overall. He scored 35 Stableford points reflecting the difficulty of the conditions. Chris won on countback from Mark Foxwell who sizzled on the front 9 but congealed on the back 9 like a cooling lamb chop although he did take home the flight C win for his efforts. Flights A and B were won by Pepo Khanla and Craig Leamy respectively.

In the latest episode of the 2024 Team Competition, the 4 Aces kept up their recent good form to take second as the mighty Fireballs prevailed once again. Dragons were third and the Stingers stunk to come fourth.

Our next event is the Presidents Cup weekend event at Black Mountain on 22 and 23 June - 6 qualifying games needed for that event. Registration is also now open for our July competition at Subrapreuk on Saturday 13 July. A rare Medal event this year with the first tee time at 11:30.
