RESULTS - Medal Competition (and Masters Day 1) at Subhapruek Golf Course on Saturday 14 September 2024

Our 28 players braved Subhapruek yesterday in a September Medal event at a super course which, whilst not soaked, was soggy in some places. It could look from the scores that the main purpose of the day was to show that the course is rated too easy but as usual it was the same for everyone. At the end of the day, Mike Muehleck stood tallest with a net 74 and the overall win. Well done Mike!

The flight winners were Tad Han (76), Robert Gray (76) and Andy Shaw (77) for flights A, B and C respectively whilst in the 2024 Team Competition it was the Fireballs who once again burned the opposition to a crisp with a convincing win. Dragons were 2nd, 4 Aces were 3rd and Stingers were an uncreditable 4th.

It was also Day 1 of our Masters event with Day 2 coming up at Vintage on Saturday 28 September. The Masters scores are calculated by subtracting your Stableford score at the 28 September event from your Net score at the Medal event on 14 September. Lowest score wins.

Sign up is open now for the next event - it is the September Stableford at Vintage on Saturday 28 September. The competition is open to all and it also doubles up as Day 2 of the Masters. Register on True Handicap as usual.
