RESULTS - Medal and Masters Day 2 at Royal Golf on Saturday 23 September 2023

Here are the results for the Medal and Masters Day 2 competition played at Royal Golf and Country Club on Saturday 23 September

36 players competed in the Medal competition with a subset of 14 players also in with a chance of winning the Masters major. To add extra pressure the leaders of the Masters after Day 1 were grouped together.

Congratulations to Stefan Kuhn who scored a super net 67 to win the Medal competition ahead of Alan Pitts, Craig Leamy and Angkana Nilkumnerd who each scored net 69s. Well done to the flight winners who were Karen Holloway, Alan Pitts and myself. Stefan won a trophy, a lesson and 2 weeks of practice membership at the Golf Point Center and a sleeve of Pro V1Xs.

Stefan Kuhn wins the Medal comp at Royal Golf and receives the trophy and prizes from John Siena

I should also mention that Stefan hit a hole in 1 at the long par 3 17th hole. Fantastic! That's 5 in his golfing career - amazing!

Stefan's group celebrate hard with him for his hole in one.

In the Masters competition, Angkana Nilkumnerd prevailed for her 2nd win, nailing a great par putt on hole 18 that won her a prize and also confirmed her as the Masters winner for 2023. If she had missed then Stefan would have won on countback so extra well done to Angkana for delivering when it mattered. Stefan was 2nd and Pepo Khanla was 3rd.
